Les Brownの本領は、弟のStumpy BrownやbsのButch Stone(1913-2009)の歌をフューチャーした楽しいステージにあります。ところどころ有名West Coaster(Dave Pell, Lonnie Lang, Frank Beach, Ray Sims, Jeff Clarksonなど)が混ざっていたり、Swing派の大物(Billy ButterfieldやBuddy Rich, Abe Most, Ray Linnなど)が参加していたりします。最大のHitはsentimental journeyでDoris Day(1922- )が歌っています。B6のTenderlyには謎のvocal groupが加わってClaude Thornhill風のエーテル状の音を出しています。楽団の全盛期はこのLPより5年ほど先の1950年台前半だったのでしょう。
