Zoot SimsとBenny Carterの編曲指揮でEllington集をというのがA面の趣旨ですが、B面は普通のQuartetの演奏となっています。曲目はEllington集で統一されています。Big Bandの方のメンバーはBasie楽団出身者をべースにしていますが、Carterの優雅なアレンジが勝っています。B面もその優雅さを引きづった感じです。せっかくの少人数の良さが、リズム隊が大人しくなってしまったせいか優雅さが全面に出てしまいました。B2はかなりrareな曲です。
